<![endif]-->It has always been said that, “There’re no winners in Rugby, only survivors”. However, of course, it’s far more complex than that. For instance- “Why play rugby” is much different as compared to “Why rugby”. Do not forget to notice that “Why rugby” is both, a statement as well as a question.

Rugby stands no where in comparison with ‘football’. In fact, equating rugby with football would prove to be insulting in case of rugby. The reality is that rugby is referred to be football’s natural evolution. Football is Neanderthal pre-cursor with respect to Rugby. The origin of rugby-football can be traced to the founding by William Web Ellis.

Frequently and simply put, Rugby isn’t a game. It’s, in actual sense, a lifestyle. The essence of rugby isn’t drawn just from physical competition held on pitch, but from the feeling of camaraderie developing from having shared an uncommon bond. Rugby, by all means, gets started on field; but then gets reinforced at the time of post-game gatherings wherein opponents happen to break bread, along with toasting each other through songs and drink. Party of this type cannot be referred to as just a celebration for victors. Vanquished ones can also participate over here.
