George Graham served as the former forward coach for the Scottish Six Nations Rugby Team. He has since then left the team and is now doing well working for club Carrera Petrarca based in Italy. But, despite his Italian success the former Scottish coach still cannot believe that his former team let him go. Graham aired concerns about the manner of his departure to several journalists in Italy saying

“While Frank Hadden has been confirmed in his position, I feel that I was made the scapegoat for a poor Six Nations. That was a huge disappointment because I believed I had done a good job with the Scotland squad.”

Graham and fellow assistant coach Alan Tait were fired after the Scottish Rugby Team failed to do great in the Six Nations Rugby Competition. Despite having fired Tait and Graham. Team officials still had enough trust on Coach Frank Hadden. Soon thereafter, Hadden and the Scottish Rugby Team officials introduced Mike Brewer as the team’s new forward coach.

Meanwhile, his current team is happy with Graham. The Rugby team’s president Fulvio Lorigiola had this to say about the new coach

“He is a very important choice for us and his arrival is the completion of a journey that we started three years ago. We now have the best staff that Petrarca has ever had,”
