According to reports, the tour served as a great opportunity to determine which team should composed New Zealand in a bid to boost the team’s chances to win the prestigious title in home soil.

All Blacks coaches Graham Henry, Steve Hansen and Wayne Smith admitted last weekend in a press conference that a massive shake-up is needed in the team. This is to boost the chances of New Zealand in making it as far as lifting the trophy once the 2011 Rugby World Cup is over.

France rugby staged a heroic victory earlier this week when it defeated New Zealand 27-22, boosting its players’ morale after having beaten a formidable opponent.

The loss prompted New Zealand to make crucial changes on its starting lineup for its upcoming Test this coming weekend at Wellington.

Starters include Conrad Smith, Jerome Kaino and Tanerau Latimer, who will become a starter for the first time. Latimer reportedly replaces Adam Thomson who will be sidelined for the next six weeks due to a broken hand.

Graham Henry, the team’s coach, said that the team gets its much needed morale boost following the return of both Kaino and Smith in the lineup after injury breaks.

He added that the loss against the France rugby team only propelled the team’s resolve to make massive improvements in its upcoming matches.

Meanwhile, the French team expressed its confidence in staging another win in the next match. The team won its first Test in New Zealand for the past 15 years. Team’s assistant coach Emile Ntamack said that they’re ready to face the formidable team this Saturday.

The France rugby team will reveal its team lineup later this week.

The stadium, located at Eden Park, can set up to 22,000 people.

Eden Park redevelopment Chief Executive Officer Adam Feeley proudly announced that everything is going well with the construction as opposed to the allegations of overspending and delays portrayed in some media reports.

The stadium will have street level entry that goes through 4 automated plazas. A concourse will be created in several strategic places in the stadium to accommodate fans from different directions. This avoids too much people traffic at the entrance.

According to Feeley, the newly constructed stadium is guaranteed to look a hundred percent different from the old one. He added that they are making the most of the provided budget to come up with the best sporting venue for the people.

Aside from the aforementioned features, the stadium will also have more than five hundred toilets and 50 corporate boxes.

For many seasons, the rugby team Wellington has always been on top of the competition but these many seasons are over as their title tilt became dangerously close to being cut off.

This, when the brave Taranaki sided before Tamati Ellison five minutes before the home semifinal against the Southland had been secured.

The stoppage time try of Wellington’s Thomas Waldrom blew the score line to 50-30 but the frailty in this match is enough to disinherit Wellington with the Auckland’s title.

The ability of Lions to score points has always been certain but doubts about the team’s tendency to give after Taranaki easily shredded their defensive line.

With Hosea Gear back in his arrogant form, Wellington has always looked to have weapons and blast their chance to be out of trouble but Southland is heading on Friday night to Cake Tin planning to expose some hints when different teams meat head to head in the first semi finals.

The presence of Ma’a Nonu has given a little help to detract from the revived flakiness of Wellington but it was also his cut-out pass that Cory Jane to full back for the opener. Right after second five-eights, Taranaki replied and Willie Ripia and Jayden Hayward added a conversion and were penalized to put the guests ahead.

Wellington’s lead was restored when Jane crossed after connecting with the halfback Albie Matthewson. Ross Filipo and Gear then combined forces to send Nonu over.

Wellington got a score again from Filipo but it was cancelled out by the second score of Perez. Wellington then needed the late effort of Ellison to secure their way to the semifinals.

Rising rugby star Danny Cipriani is saying that he is not taking is return to the English Rugby squad lightly. The 20 year will be playing full back for the English Rugby Union. He was taken out of the game several months ago because of a serious ankle injury. Now the young man is back and doing the best that he can.

Cipriani played for the Wasps for more than 50 minutes on Wednesday evening’s Game against Bath. That was his first match since his ankle injury in last May. His recovery was a fast one and as a result, he has been considered healthy enough to play for the English team in their upcoming test against the Pacific Islanders this November. Cipriani would be taking the place vacated by Jonny Wilkinson. Wilkinson suffered a knee injury a few days ago.

“It is very disappointing for Jonny obviously because you can’t wish an injury on anyone,” said Cipriani. “Whether I get picked for England or not, I need to be playing well for Wasps first. So I can’t be thinking too much about that. I need to be thinking about playing European Cup rugby and getting my match head on.”

Assistant Coach for the All Blacks Rugby Team of New Zealand Steve Hansen has claimed that his team was at an unfair disadvantage against the Australian Wallabies Rugby Team. Despite that the All Blacks still had a 28-24 victory against the Wallabies in Saturday’s Tri-Nation game.

Hansen claims that the Wallabies were shown footage of All Blacks Rugby Team training sessions before the game started. He also claims that this gave the Australian Rugby team an idea of how the All Blacks were going to perform. Hansen places the blame on a television crew that filmed an All Blacks Rugby training session.

Both the Wallabies and the film crew in question have denied the allegations. They have discredited the report saying that what Hansen heard was only a rumor. However, Hansen insists that he was supplied this information by an Australian official and that it wasn’t a rumor, but a fact.

Hansen had this to say to Reuters:

“It was Channel Seven, and I don’t know if it was more than one session but I definitely know of one session, then they gave it to the Australians. It’s disappointing that the Australians actually used it. We know they used it because they told us. It was a bit dumb, but they did.”

The Wallabies Rugby Team continue to deny the claims staying that it had ‘NO FOUNDATION’.
